Artist's Statement
| My recent work can be best described as a series of 'cognitive machinesʼ, To create a visual translation of cognitive thought, I start by constructing structures and icons that represent people and emotions. I deconstruct the information I gather from their movement and contours. New forms emerge through the utilization of color and shape, devouring and modifying existing details while creating interaction among the subjects. Through the intertwining accumulation of metaphors, I set the stage for a play starring the visual representations of human characteristics. |
